Renee: Well guys, for some reason my computer isn't letting me post a new entry ~ so am going to tell you my news this way ~ I got a job as an infant/toddler director at a daycare ! I am so excited :) And I also bought me a car! It's a 1992 Honda Accord and runs beautifully. So that is my news ~ Tomorrow is my birthday! I plan on just relaxing... Love you all and hope to be able to post soon!

Adjusting

I knew that when my last day of work came, I would be filled with all kinds of emotions.  Relief, sadness, excitment, etc.  And I do miss it.  At the same time, I love being in charge of my days.  The past couple of weeks, however, I have been literally glued and almost in chains.  I let that have too much power over me and today I said enough is enough and I feel better.  My body still aches, but my mind feels less glued.  If that makes sense.

Wrote a poem ~ "The Disquiet"

Enraged thoughts
Push back tears
Crippling fears
Comfort sought

Peaceful anguish
Disquiet mind
Calm to find
Rest distinguished

Life frustration
Unable to quiet
A mind's riot
Seeking elation

It's short, I know, but at least I was able to get something down on paper.  My muse has been dormant for too long now and I am going to be reading lots and lots to try and wake her from her slumber. 

Lost returned this past week!  And what an episode .  I cried along with Kate ... it was just amazing to see her acting skills, from being bad-ass, to vulnerable, to really emotional and then to just doing what had to be done.  Evangeline is an amazing actress in my book.

Still working on sending my writing samples out to get some freelance work coming in.  It's hard when I don't have a lot of clips, but to get clips I need people to take a chance on me.  Hoping this works out soon.
